Who we are
Our Law Firm was founded on August 15th, 1981, has broad professional experience, and is one of the most important law offices in Peru, playing a prominent role in Peru's legal circles.

Our lawyers have graduated from the most prestigious Peruvian universities and many of them hold a Master's degree from leading US and European universities, including Harvard University, Stanford University, Columbia University, University of Chicago, , New York University, Duke University, Georgetown University, the University of Warwick (England), the University of Salzburg (Austria), and the University of Barcelona (Spain). Our lawyers have worked under training programs for leading foreign law offices, such as Chadbourne & Parke LLP; Dewey, Ballantine, Bushby, Palmer & Wood; ; Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw; Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy; Shearman & Sterling; and Rivera-Beiras (Spain).

Many of our lawyers have successfully filled important public and government positions, and currently serve as professors at the most important law schools in Lima and Trujillo. They regularly publish legal articles in specialized dailies and magazines.

Our Firm tries to develop a solid commitment and a long-term relationship with its clients in order to become identified with their business objectives and offer the necessary professional support, coupled with experience, creativity and common sense. Thanks to this approach, our Firm has successfully built up an important list of clients, including leading members of the international business community in the industrial, bank, finance, commercial, oil, mining, electricity and other fields.

In 1999, a study conducted by Apoyo Opinión & Mercado with the participation of a large number of officers working for major companies in Peru, concluded that we were the leading law office in Peru, as a result of our constant effort to provide an efficient service to our clients.

Our Firm assigns a lawyer, called "Attaché", to each client, and said Attaché is responsible for being in direct contact with the client, and for seeking the most efficient and cost-effective strategy to be applied in each specific case entrusted to our Firm. If due to the nature of any given case, the participation of more than one specialized area is required, the Attaché will set up an appropriate work team of partners, associates and legal assistants to deal with said specific case. In this way, the client's needs are addressed in every instance on an interdisciplinary, continuous and personal basis.
