Environment and Native Communities

The Environment and Native Communities division deals with all matters associated with the strong operating and economic impact of the new environmental regulations, particularly upon the mining, oil, electricity, fishing and industrial sectors, and with the growing need to establish an interactive relationship with peasant and native communities, especially in the case of oil and mining activities. This division provides advice on environmental law, represents our clients in administrative procedures, collaborates in the preparation of environmental impact studies (EISs) and environmental compliance and management programs (PAMAs), and participates directly in the negotiation and execution of agreements with peasant and native communities.
