Piura, 1,035 km. north of Lima, was the first city founded in Peru by conqueror Francisco Pizarro in 1532.
It was originally named San Miguel de Piura.
The region is rich in natural resources, particularly those related to agriculture, hydrocarbons,
mining, and fishing. However, the agri-export sector (artichoke, lemon, mango, avocado, banana, grape, etc.) offers
an enormous development potential, which has made many national and foreign companies settle down in the region.
The port of Paita, 57 km. away from Piura, is being operated under a
concession contract by private operators, which will contribute to the development of foreign
trade in the entire northern region.
Piura is the fifth office that our Firm has opened to decentralize its operations.
This new office will help us provide a better service to all those clients that carry
out operations in the northern region, always complying with the highest quality and
efficiency standards that we have consistently applied during all these years.
